Guest guest
Dear v. Ramana said that inquiry while only in seated meditation was just for those who are getting started. Certainly my inquiry continues throughout the waking state. I have not yet noticed inquiry when dreaming. Guest guest
We find Ramana laying great stress on the search within in his origianl work 'Ulladu Narpadu'. This is also the case in most of his conversations with the disciples upto the mid-thirties when the guru disciple relationship, practically on a one to one basis, was possible. To enquire, silently and deeply, as to the source Of the mind, the 'I' Alone is self-enquiry. Ideas like 'I am that, or 'I' am not this' are but aids. The ego falls, crestfallen, when one enquires 'Who am I? and enter the Heart Then another 'I'-'I' throbs unceasingly, by itself. It is not the ego but the Self itself, the whole. >From Timeless in Time by Natarajan
