Guest guest
I keep weeping for you, my soul, good sir, gently trying to let you see the nature of what you love. Not even the shadow of an iron anchor will last from here. Remember the truth that you are. ~Lalla Are you that? Remembrance spills the tell-all answer. Existing in form, in resisting the storm, the one who would live must die. Crying tears of me in the river of belief the falling vasanas dropped the one who climbed high to hide from "I." The nature of life is seen as the transience and transcendence of all. Love leaves the Heart obliterated in the burning away of the idea of an "other." ~Mitzvah When the sense of distinction and separation is absent, you may call it love. ~Nisargadatta Maharaj Seeing a man dying slowly, gradually separating from the body-mind apparatus, I can say truly, that in that man I am born and I die. Whatever part of that being which clings to the idea of separation, whatever part of that being which surrenders all concepts about an "other," I am in truth that manifestation of body, mind, heart, and spirit. As long as anyone remains concealed in delusion's sticky web, I too am waiting for the spider of "I" to bite and dissolve itself. There is no other. This is Love in Amusement. This entire world is an amusement park, And Love is every ride inside it. ~Mitzvah If you want a kingdom and get it, you'll have no peace. If you give it away, still you won't be content. Only a soul free of desire can taste eternity. Be living, yet dead! Then knowing comes to live in you. ~Lalla Billowing I to the infinite sky of "gate gate," I found that "I" endlessly vibrating from silent emptiness… Echo-Laughing and Dancing, I returned to live "here, here," This, As It Is Now. There is no explanation for this. I am the living dead…singing Joyful dirges, embracing all in the Light of Paramatman… Breath of Brahma stilled by Its reflection. ~Mitzvah People often ask how the mind is controlled. I say to them, 'Show me the mind and then you will know what to do.' The fact is that the mind is only a bundle of thoughts. How can you extinguish it by the thought of doing so or by a desire? Your thoughts and desires are part and parcel of the mind. The mind is simply fattened by new thoughts rising up. Therefore it is foolish to attempt to kill the mind by means of the mind. The only way of doing it is to find its source and hold on to it. The mind will then fade away of its own accord. ~Sri Ramana Maharshi LoveEternal.
