"What is it?" I inquired. When she showed me the insides I thought surely they were empty, but then she looked at me and smiling happily with her palms up she said, "There's yuv inside! That's your pwesent." She spread wide her arms, I stepped in, and we hugged a good hug. I kissed her gently in front of her ear and with my lips still touching I whispered, "That's the best kind, sweetheart. Thank you."
