Dear friends,

 

i should be racing the clouds for the sky.

i should be dismounting the platform of "i."

 

One might think so, and quite right it would seem.

Alas, there's an oafish, clownish imp continuing this dream.

 

Mistaken destinations, passages non-existent, time closed in,

and now, the Friend holds the cosmos up despite my missing pin.

 

Adyashanti planned to meet in Los Gatos, i in Santa Cruz.

i wrote a story-board and missed the cue, no dokusan, no blues.

 

Could it be that i willed it so and made it come to be?

Could it be possible i ran from the peaceful, primordial sea?

 

Nah. Not that for there is no doer, there's no one here.

"i will not allow the idea that it's the fruit of fear," i sneer.

 

My bags were packed, my water quite cold, my equanimity was such.

Tickets were bought, no expectations sought, now, as it is, in touch.

 

Maybe this will bring a yuk or two, maybe it will not,

but brothers Dear, and sisters, too, everyone is le mot.

 

That's really not mot, it's moe, and so it goes, and so it goes.

The word is Om and everywhere is Home, Adyashanti silent, no D'Ohs.

 

i tilt against the wall of time, a rhyme not quite chimed.

Could it be that i am just the puppet of "i" pantomimed?

 

....Mother Ocean, mirrored sky,

Oceanic Mind mirrored as "i."

 

i cannot bear this Beauty.
