Guest guest
Dear Grady: I was raised in the Catholic faith. I spent many wonderful years honoring the Christ child. I still hold Christmas dear in my Heart. I honor your path and wish you a Blessed Christmas. I will be playing some Christmas carol's on my piano over the holidays. I want you to know that I will think of you and play for you, the following song, one of my favorites... Oh, Holy Night The stars are brightly shining it is the night of our dear saviour's birth Long lay the world In sin and error pining till He appeared and the soul felt its worth A thrill of hope, the weary world rejoices For yonder breaks a new and glorious morn Fall on your knees Oh hear the angel voices Oh Night Divine Oh Night when Christ was born Oh Night Oh Holy Night Oh NIght Divine Now, if you'll excuse me... I have to go get my Christmas tree out of the car and decorate Oh, Christmas tree...Oh Christmas tree.....la la la la la la la....... Love, Joycie Jeanie Jingle Bells Attachment: (image/gif) Holiday Letter Bkgrd.gif [not stored]
Guest guest
ah yes, the saviour child, much different than the mother and child of egyptian mythology, much different than isis, and ra, much different than the mother God and saviour child of rome, much different. You do well my lady to sing songs of praise to the comming king, for long before, in ages past, the birth was fortold among the scribes.... 1. 748 years prior to the birth of Jesus God told the Prophet Isaiah that mankind would recognize the Messiah/Savior when he would be born of a virgin. [Predicted: Isaiah 7:14/ Fulfilled: Luke 1:34] 2. Over Seven Centuries before the birth of Christ God told the Prophet Isaiah that mankind would recognize the Messiah/Savior when he would suffer and be despised. [Predicted: Isaiah 53:3/ Fulfilled: Luke 23:18] 3. Well over half a Millennium before Jesus was even a thought in His mothers head God spoke to Isaiah the Prophet ‘You will recognize the Messiah when He is buried with the rich,’ even though society was poor. [Predicted: Isaiah 53:9/ Fulfilled: Matthew 27:9] 4. Seven hundred years before Christ was born God told the Prophet Micah that ‘You will recognize the Messiah when He is born in Bethlehem/ The city of David.’ Christ was so much predicted by scripture that when Herod attempted to determine where the Savior Child would be born the Scribes immediately quoted this verse. [Predicted: Micah 5:2 (697B.C.) / Fulfilled: Luke 2:4-7] --- Lady Joyce <ladyjoy wrote: > Dear Grady: > > I was raised in the Catholic faith. I spent many > wonderful years honoring the Christ child.
