Oh, I know how you must feel, for I have been lost outside cyberspace

myself since late afternoon, sharing the computer with my daughter,

but now it is my turn again to be alive here... Odd, sometimes it

seems as though when people are offline they cease to exist, doesn't

it? Hmmm, does the internet teache us about object constancy or what?

:)

Anyway, your primrose photograph was gorgeous! I think of it as my

first rose of 2003, and thank you for sharing it. Did you take the

photo yourself? Just amazing.

love,

the other joyce

PS - one for you - not a rose, though.

Dear Joyce...

Hi Joyce...you make it sound like the photo came through for you.

Maybe my email program is having a bad hair day? :-)

The photo appears and disappears. Go figure.

Anyway, I did take the photo...in the middle of the night,

this was the primrose that bloomed in my back yard.

Just for me, I like to think!!!

Oh, Ego, the downfall

Of us All

When you go splat...who you gonna call?

The first roses of spring...

those of the day and those of the night.

All with their own special light

Love,

Joyce Jean

Hi Joyce -

Well, actually, I usually just check this list on the web, because

this mailbox keeps overflowing (i am so lame). But, the primrose pix

looks great from the Harsha site. If you don't mind, however, i'm

going to download it to my desktop, it's a keeper. Is this a bit

spooky or what - two joyces, both from PA? Both who like roses? Both

who hang around outside at night with their cameras? And there have

been some photos you have included of a waterway/stream/river/pond

and trees that i am certain are from the Sudbury River, next to my

home... Eerily similar landscapes.

love,

joyce

PS - I always enjoy your poems, as well. They are so uplifting.
