Guest guest
I am heartened by Joyce found and primrose found in your luscious photo. , "Lady Joyce" <ladyjoy@v...> wrote:> > Hi joyce...you wrote..<Snip>> > >Both who hang around outside at night with their cameras? > Yes, and it gets cold out there now, too! Good to know I am in such good company :-) Another excuse for being outside camera in hand the next day or so? The Quarantid meteor shower is underway with peak viewing tonight and tomorrow. It is most favorable for our friends in Europe and Asia this year, and the moon will be sufficiently dim for good viewing, weather permitting. http://www.space.com/spacewatch/space_weather.html#meteor http://www.maa.mhn.de/Comet/Shower/quadrantids.html Was it Oscar Wilde who said "We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars" - yes, I think it was.> > > And there have > > been some photos you have included of a waterway/stream/river/pond > > and trees that i am certain are from the Sudbury River, next to my > > home... We are blessed, then.> > The Beauty of Pennsylvania is timeless, isn't it? There are so many lush areas. I grew up in Northeast PA, along the Susquehanna River, but not in such Beauty as what I am blessed to walk in every day now...well...almost every day :-) I do not recognize Sudbury River. Through what section of PA does it flow? I am from PA originally, but now in MA. The Sudbury River flows in Eastern MA towards Boston. I think from looking at your photos and some of Al's treescapes, which are always so lovely too, that riverscapes in autumn and winter can be so universal if the latitudes are similar. And thanks to yours and his photos of the sun filtering through trees in differing configurations at different times of the day, my morning commute, which is into the sunrise, always, finds me framing imaginary tree photos in my mind's eye, as well. Everyone here seems to share such beauty, sometimes from the most unusual places.> > All of the photos I have posted so far were taken in Playwicki Park and along Neshaminy Creek where I walk most of the time. All have been taken within the last few months. I usually identify in the small print on the bottom where I took the photo :-) The moon shots and the primrose are from my backyard. > > > PS - I always enjoy your poems, as well. They are so uplifting.> > Thank you so much. :-) I enjoy yours, too, and all that post their poems/ photos, pleasure and pain here. Like Harsha says, we are All in the same boat. It can be lonely in the Maya world...you know, that illusion/delusion/confusion one we Live in every day. Where our reality is someone else's Maya. Where our reality is also our Maya. Rabindranath Tagore said: "When I stand before thee at the day's end, thou shalt see my scars and know that I had my wounds and also my healing." I see and feel healing here in this space on a daily basis, and am thankful for it. > I am slowly beginning to understand why I should want release!!! Coming to the fellowship is always Sustenance to me. I feel the power here...the power of the Heart, the power of Love, the power of peace, perfect peace. Thank you, God, for everything. I have no complaints. Again, Tagore said: "Love is the only reality and it is not a mere sentiment. It is the ultimate truth that lies at the heart of creation." > > Eternal Love,> > Joyce Jean> > > The Heart is the Self.
