Namaste, More than likely, even a housewife in your street may be. Only a Sage can recognise another one. However if they boast or say they are God or other sort of stuff, distrust them. I couldn't say who is one, the best sage is the Vedanta for me. India has many masters but only your own inner self will tell you if one is right for you. I made the mistake of following a phoney for fifteen years so watch out. I do admire Amma, Mata Amritanandamayi, though, for her selfless hugging of people etc to the detriment of her own health, and I enjoy her bhajans. There are others, many others who teach just as well. I don't need an outer guru now, but if you are looking one will appear for you. Guru means dispeller of darkness and only a jivanmukti can be a guru, all others are not........OM Sakti....Tony.
