Q: How does the intellect help?

 

Maharshi: Only is making one sink the intellect in the ego and the ego

in the Self. After realization all intellectual loads are thrown

overboard as flotsam. Whose is the intellect? It is man's. Intellect

is only an instrument. To reach the Self it must vanish.
