Guest guest
Namaste. This is one subject that I have thought in circles about, gurus and sex. Firstly a Guru is a Jivamukti, others are just teachers. So we are talking about the latter. It seems the main drive for reincarnation is sex. Why is that? Well I think those that have not overcome and experience the continual bliss energy, search for it in the movement of energy in the sex act. It is very much an animal instinct and I remember in my youth some of the old sailors using the crude expression 'When the iron man takes command', folksie but true. Combine ego and sex and you have the recipe for many fallen yogis or brashtas.........Om Sakti.......Tony.

Guest guest
Dear Have also thought long and hard about this one. I do like what Eckhart Tolle has to say though. Along the lines of " Why create another problem by trying to give up desire, just witness it." For me this seems the most sensible way of disolving ego. Not being the dooer not identifying with or making a personal identity out of it. What personal identity? No self no problem.Full acceptance of what is. Can it be that easy? I feel that I have made most progress since studying the teachings that flow through Eckhart Tolle in "The Power of now" Regards Chris Hughes Tony saidThis is one subject that I have thought in circles about, gurus and sex.Snipped Combine ego and sex and you have the recipe for many fallen yogis or brashtas.........Om Sakti.......Tony. Read my lips and read between the lines Who reigns on your walls? Lady Loneliness below? Or the Goddess in All Her Glory? So, what's it gonna be, boy? Iron Maiden or Ocean Gypsy? OR BOTH???
