What is "pure awareness"? If "no mind to mind" means no self- referencing" or no self-consciousness or no I-I then does anyone exist there absolutely? I accept that when that "reality" is achieved, there is no "anyone". I can claim that I am "no-one" that I am not a "somebody", but is that my reality? Is that Harsha's reality (is it his, Dan's, or Sailor Bob's "lived" Reality) I say that that is only their philosophical stance. By "their philosophical stance" I mean they may have fantastic ways of reiterating aphorisms like "no practice and no practitioner". Ok, fine, what about the Joe Bud who only lives to make money, enjoy sex and rocknroll, watch Football and drink Budweiser. He does "no practice", has "no practitioner". YOu and I accept it intellectually, you and I accept it sincerely, but should we pretend that we have accomplished something? Perhaps, let's drop the whole notion of "spirituality", go to work (if you have to) and be nice. Unless, of course, the Harshas, The Gurus, or you have some spiritual recommendation (undisclosed by "no practice, no practitioner" that I am not aware of. cornelius --- End forwarded message ---
Guest guest
While there is someone here to enjoy this beer, there must be some effort. Wow! Check out da glow, bradda. Guest guest
It is not possible to know others, except through your own mind. This is why I said, you can either mind your mind or not mind your mind. Either way, if you can be conscious of what is happening, it leads to Self-Realization. Wisdom boils down to Self-Knowledge, and not knowledge of others. I could have just as well used the name of several who seem "above it all" but I was mostly projecting my own inconsistencies and inadequacies.. Most who circulate here (and there) are sincere, hardworking and ....enlightening. >From doing this spiritual-group stuff for about a year now I've gathered that some have managed to be enlightening while remaining above the fray.
