While I drive alone to your favourite place.

 

 

In the old house,in the kitchen,

a glove in the pocket,

the jacket on a chair.

 

This day,

the day we all cry,

even the shy

and distant one.

 

The short night done,

the longest day begun,

the grey day,

yesterday.

 

While we all sing,

'A fair sun is smiling',

the single ray

like a shining hand,

is covering,

white wood

and the pile of sand.

 

 

 

On the hillside

the old crow on the shed,

still waiting there,

to be fed.

 

Looking at the window
