"Why can't you see this boat is sinking?"

~Annie Lennox

"What we see is not the most important.

Could dust rise without the invisible

hand of the wind?

Could a fan turn without any current?

Could lungs breathe without breath?

Tell me

What is the shape of Love?

How much does Joy weigh

when held in the palm of your hand?

Can you catch the spirit of life in a jar?

All things seen depend

upon the Unseen.

all sounds depend

upon Silence.

All things felt depend

upon what is not felt."

~Adyashanti

On the wind

the word stalks

what I talk

and gives away

all I thought

and bought

as if it knows me

better than I do

and I wouldn't

doubt us

for all the world

though sometimes

we do word

the world

playing around

with the certainty

of the unsure

and naturally

while riding

the petals

of merigolds

round

and round

we go.

~Tykal

"True surrender is love of God for the sake of love and nothing

else, not even for the sake of liberation. Love itself is the actual

form of God. That is pure bliss. Call it pure bliss, God, Self, or

what you will. That is devotion, that is realization and that is

everything. The experience of not forgetting consciousness alone is

the state of devotion which is the relationship of unfading real

love, because the real knowledge of Self, which shines as the

undivided supreme bliss itself, surges up as the nature of love. Only

if one knows the truth of love, which is the nature of the Self,

will the strong entangled knot of life be untied. Only if one attains

the height of love will liberation be attained. The experience of

Self is only love, which is seeing only love, hearing only love,

feeling only love, tasting only love and smelling only love, and this

is bliss. God does not reside in any place other than the Heart. Be

sure that the heart is the Kingdom of Heaven."

~Sri Ramana Maharshi

The senses are not separate from

True Mind in the same way the

Breeze is not separate from sky.

Whether in motion or at rest, the

Breeze reveals the play of sky as

Senses reveal the play of Mind.

Beyond motion and rest, let the

Winds of sensation sift through the

Sky of Mind without restriction,

Filling the hollow bamboo flute of

Existence with exquisite notes to a

Music no heart can contain.

Such music has never been the

Problem – only the effort to

Claim it is.

~Mazie & b

At the sound of the bell

in the silent night,

I wake from my dream

in this dreamworld of ours.

Gazing at the reflection

of the moon in a clear pool,

I see, beyond my form, my real form.

~Kojisei

Out, been flying towards

Night with black crows

across golden skies.

Mother's singing

and the mountain sighs.

A heart left behind -

tears feeding earth for the

love of the moon.

Hear this mountain cry now.

Lie down.

Rest awhile longer on the

breast of this tear-filled world.

Leave sighing to the sky --

we are not of this world

nor the next.

~Mazie & b

I want to sing like birds sing,

not worrying who hears,

or what they think.

Last night,

A great teacher went from door to door

with a lamp. 'He who is not to be found

is the one I'm looking for.'

Beyond wanting, beyond place, inside form

That One. A flute says, I have no hope

for finding that.

But Love plays

and is the music played.

Let that musician

finish this poem, Shams,

I am a waterbird

flying into the sun.

~Rumi

A solitary trill

throated from a nightbird:

the darkness all ears.

A single bird note

stood apart, listening

to me listening.

my listening sang back

and we heard nothing,

nothing apart

from the sound of us listening

to nothing

speaking the silence

into everything

singing nothing

nothing

nothing...

~Mazie

I am hollowed out now

Like a reed.

I gave everything for this.

And still I laughingly wonder:

How could it have been so cheap?

~Adyashanti

I exhausted myself, looking.

No one ever finds this by trying.

I melted in it and came home,

where every jar is full,

but no one drinks.

~Lalla

Did you see the moon in the sky?

"Yes," I said.

With a tear of knowingness

in her eye, she said:

That's why we are all here -

to see the moon.

~Annie and Adya

The soul, like the moon,

is new, and always new again.

And I have seen the ocean

continuously creating.

Since I scoured my mind

and my body, I too, Lalla,

am new, each moment new.

My teacher told me one thing,

*Live in the soul.*

When that was so,

I began to go naked, and dance.

~Lalla

All spiritual experiences are to be eventually left behind. One day

even your awakening to enlightenment will be seen as a flash of

imagination which served only to orient you toward your own

disappearance into simplicity and the restoration of cosmic humor.

~Adyashanti

Man oh man brothers and sisters,

the Mirthful One Yips like a divine coyote

baying at the moon of Self rising

and lighting up

everything

everywhere

and it was never so funny,

it was never so hilarious

as it is this moment.

We've been laughing and stumbling around

these streets for three months

in three hundred lifetimes

in three seconds

in the trinity concept

of Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva.

Or God the Father,

the Son

and the Holy Ghost.

Being emboldened by Love

we've thrown them across the space

it takes to enter in

the Horizon

of pre-existence.

Pretty funny, eh?

"In this state there is no Shiva,

nor any holy union.

Only a somewhat something moving

dreamlike on a fading road."

~Lalla

Whatever it is,

it just keeps on going.

Han Shan wandered all over China looking for it.

He was It looking for itSelf.

Han Shan was about one foot

(if we're still talking in the time rhyme)

one foot from stepping into the Void.

God that looks so funny in print.

Say that at a non-dual party

and see how far it gets you!

All this night waltzing with

the likes of Wu Wei Wu,

Ramana and Nityananda too,

well it simply cracks us up so much

we can't stop crying

between bhakti bhajans

and standing timelessly

in transmissions given

by the jnanis wandering around with us.

What're ya gonna do?

Nothing.

Absolutely nothing.

Somehow,

Lovers are absolved

from doing anything.

They're so done up in jnani originals

they can't tell where bhakti begins

and jnani ends.

Here's the real deal:

It never fricking ends.

Let Everything End...

"There is a great momentum of suffering and confusion that every

spiritual seeker encounters. It is the momentum of ignorance which

manifests as the experience of conflict and confusion and which

causes suffering. In order to discover the perspective of Liberation,

which alone transcends this entire movement of ignorance and

suffering, one needs to let everything end.

"Letting everything end" means to stand in the moment completely

naked of attachment to any and all ideas, concepts, hopes,

preferences, and experiences. Simply put, it means to stop

strategizing, controlling, manipulating, and running away from

yourself--and to simply be. Finally you must let everything end and

be still. In letting everything end, all seeking and striving stops.

All effort to be someone or to find some extraordinary state of being

ceases. This ceasing is essential. It is true spiritual maturity.

By ceasing to follow the mind's tendency to always

want 'more', 'different', or 'better', one encounters the opportunity

to be still. In being still, a perspective is revealed which is free

from all ignorance and bondage to suffering. From that perspective,

eternal Self is realized. The eternal Self, the Seer, is recognized

to be one's true nature, one's very own Self.

This is an invitation to let all seeking end, all striving end, all

efforting end, all past identity end, all hopes end, and to discover

That which has no beginning or end. This is an invitation to discover

eternal, unborn, undying Truth of Being. The Truth of your Being,

your own Self. Let the entire movement of becoming end, and discover

That which has always been present at the core of your Being."

~Adyashanti

Brighten into Light, emptied of anything

but billowing waves of Om…

makinf mudras of Mani Padme Hum….

Huuuuuu Breathes Allah into AllThingsAsItIsNow.

What Is this endlessness in Bliss, this vastness?

O Heart captor of I Am !

O Love! O the Love that Vaporizes Hearts

Dancing as dust particles

In the Sunlight of Mystery Revealed.

i remain near to the Clear One as a child of Bright Image,

Brightening even further into the Sun of Shanti,

Sundered under and over and in the moment I am Breathed –

O Love, O Love

I imagine myself into this lovely, living,

Bhava breathing being…

This planetary child of cosmic proportions

agog and agape as The Whirls of galaxies in the water of Wa

Wondrously, whimperingly like a wise man weeping,

Are running riotously

and leaping Laughingly

in this river of Love's Life I bathe in.

The Oceanic One Hears this Heart breaking,

inside a most mildly mouthed "i Love You,"

and O! The Whispering Wild Wonder of Magic Marvelosity

will make the mad ones

wander into the nightsky alight with Brilliant bhajans

muttering Mu and Oui to the Sea

up above them.

Lakeland of Living Fire Delighting,

What Is this Love that never ends?

Wandering as a waif of wanton wooing into what never ends

Moment by moment

By moment,.

I am Light's Unfoldment,

Light's Bright Wings breaking free to flutter,

Flowering in Fana and annihilating

every idea and concept clung to

Now,

Always….

And so It goes and comes Home to show Noh and Kabuki,

And Beloved mannekins of Blessed Presentation,

I present this poem as proof of our existence

In

Love alone Knowing the score.

I am scored and scoured in the shower of Blissful Rain falling

As we fall into just this –

I Love as love Loves to Love,

Free from any constraint upon the Heart,

Or head or mouth or body.

I will mouth out a mantra so powerful It Deigns us all

As Graciousness,

As Grace Showing the Face

of God the Beautiful

Beloved One.

~Mazie

"Deham - The body

Naham - I am not

Koham - Who am I?

Soham - I am He"

~Sri Ramana Maharshi

The essential purpose of the Vedas

is to teach you the nature of

the Imperishable Self.

Ah...

Supreme Consciousness!

Thou art That!

Having discussed this stuff in-depth

with my Darling today,

having sat in satsang with Adyashanti today,

having been aware of the Presence

of Sri Ramana and Nisargadatta Maharaj today,

i think it's safe to say this -

"I, the tiny bubble of laughter

have become the Sea of Mirth ItSelf."

~Sri Yoganandaji
