Guest guest
Dear Friends: The Bhagvad Gita and other scriptures tell us that the state of mind experienced by the person at the time of death reflects how that person has lived his or her life. There are, in fact, many examples of this psychological and spiritual truth in virtually every spiritual tradition and we have all heard them. The story of Jesus has come to us that in his last moments which were full of pain and even despair, he blessed those who tortured him by saying, "Father, forgive them for they know not what they do." Such stories are a great lesson for humanity because they point to what is possible in all of us. Even when there is darkness all around, if one candle is lit, there is potential for other candles to be lit through it. Keep the flame of your love burning and light other candles with your being.
