Guest guest
Birds quickly loose their fear of humans when they are hungry. These geese are very shy, but it seems this flock arrived too early this year. The ice is still thick on the lakes, and the fields are covered with snow. Below are some whooping swans on a field a bit further south, propably just waiting, they are on the way far north. If I came closer than about 100m they began to move. Here is a nice chance for a fox at night. Alan - know_mystery Monday, March 24, 2003 1:34 AM Re: The anser , "Al Larus" <alarus@o...> wrote:> Anser anser.> Greylag goose.Beautiful, Alan. Guest guest
Hi Alan - Thanks for your ongoing waterfowl photos. You're right about this being an opportunity for a fox. Here, the geese and swans remain year round, although i think they may have regretted it during this year's harsh winter. love and peace to all, joyce , "Al Larus" <alarus@o...> wrote: > Birds quickly loose their fear of humans when they are hungry. Guest guest
Hi Alan, Friends - all is illusion, now you see me now you don't.mind's footprints remain. PS - Your observation about swans and thick ice reminded me of these photos from February. The first, Saturday when the temperature was 6 degrees F. The second, exactly 24 hours later, when it had warmed up to 20 or so. love and peace, joyce , "Al Larus" <alarus@o...> wrote:> Birds quickly loose their fear of humans when they are hungry.
