Guest guest
Dear fellow struggling incarnations: Another spinoff from Harshaji's post on spirituality, and um, age. What age, I ask? Your biological age as an incarnate being in this incarnation? Or your spiritual age as an incarnate being in this incarnation? Well, says Lady Joyce... For those of us who are biologically "old" May I be so bold As to say... We can still find the Way!!! This is a forward from another list... take Heart to those who think that they have only just begun... We do get to have many reruns :-) So Know that what you do in this "life" Maybe in your next life you will get a wife OneLove, Joyce As listened fromSwami Sri Sadhanananda GiriThe development, which an accomplisher has attained after Sadhana for many previous births, indicates his starting point in the present life. The level where the Sadhana of his previous birth stopped, in the present birth, his Sadhana starts from there. In the path of Sadhana, seekers ("Bhakta") can broadly be divided into three categories. One is "Uttam Bhakta" - the high quality / advanced seeker. The sadhakas, who had performed Sadhana in their previous lives, gets initiation in early ages in this birth or, find Sadguru effortlessly. After getting initiation from Sadguru, they devote their life in tough meditation. They develop themselves further in an exceptionally short period of time. The "Madhyam Bhakta" - the medium quality / mediocre seeker. These categories of seekers, in this present birth, have a strong desire for taking initiation from a Sadguru. But for that, they have to search for a long time and at different places for getting it. The meditation (Japa & Dhanya) they did in their previous lives their mind (chitto - suddhi) had been cleansed. But after sublimation of their soul, they could not attained Bhakti (reverence) and Gyana (knowledge of divinity / absolute knowledge) in past lives. For these reasons, they take more time for self development in their present birth. The third category of seekers is named as "Adhama-Bhakta" – the least quality seeker. They may or, may not get initiation from a Sadguru in their present birth. Depending on their good works (karma / sanskar) of previous births / present birth, sometime they get initiation from a Sadguru at a later stage of their present birth. But they still pay more attention on fulfillment of their goals/ desires in material life. This causes delay in self realization of these kind of seekers.Apart from these three categories, there is another category of seeker. He always burst into tears in front of his Guru or, in front of God. His only desire in life becomes to realize God, to get Kripa (blessings) of God. For that he leaves all other things of life. Lord Krishna says "Sraddahabana lavhate Gayanam" – the person having due reverence and sublimation of soul at the feet of God, soon realizes absolute knowledge. This seeker able to find blessings of Sadguru / God and attains his self realized state very soon.
