Guest guest
As we walk through space and time. Still wondering, if it's yours or mine. The dream persists. So don't resist, 'Cause you can't find me in duality. We build this dream. And then machines. And now it's time to wipe it clean. We're children of the sun. Playing in the rain. Thought it could be fun. To be insane. Everything. Everything around us. It's off or on. It's digital clouds. Everything. Everything surrounds us. Quantum jump. I'll be blunt. It's digital clouds. Crystallized geometry. Projected on the sacred screen. Binary code for infinity. A pseudo reality. Interference patterns. Composed of gravity and light. Seduce the mind, with the drone of time. We keep dreaming 'till we see the light. I see dreams of heaven. In digital clouds. ---------- Now available for your listening enjoyment david_bozzi_music

I love syncopation. Syncopation is the space between the dots. Dots are power beats. Dots and space can not exist without one another, ...it's all good. I like the way you say this! And the syncopation in your music is ALL good. (and who let Nasrudin in?) Have you heard how Arthur Schnable (the pianist) put it? 'The notes I handle no better than many pianists. But the pauses between the notes - ah, that is where the art resides.' love and peace to all, joyce > > David > (powerfully absent)

When I first began recording music on a sequencer I'd notice that the notes, when viewed on the 'Grid' (or time structure) deviated here and there from the 'perfect time'. When I 'fixed' the notes to be 'perfect' it sounded stale & dry. It was then I realized that the deviations from 'perfection' are the *feel*. Along similar lines, years ago a friend who was a drummer used to say "Equally as important as the notes I choose to play are the ones I don't." Blessings... Have you ever heard a keyboard player with perfect technique and no soul? It just leaves a flattened feeling with no life to the music. I wonder if it's the same sort of thing, the absence of those little hesitations or pauses between notes. > > Along similar lines, > years ago a friend who was a drummer used to say > "Equally as important as the notes I choose to play > are the ones I don't."
