this aggregate of impulses and functions

inseparable from body flesh

or immediate environment,

that can strive on a day of enquiry

reading some of the gita

suddenly remembering not to forget

breathing or repeating the mantra,

hitting over and over

the thick wall of the unconscious;

then letting oneself drown

in this unexpected soft

wave of happiness;

if this is ego

there is no use to mention it

we are too busy

Hi Eric, I have no way of proving this

but my rather pointless point

is that the Universe is rich enough to support

impulses & functions

sans flesh

(i.e. there are subtle bodies that are not blood & guts)

 

Still binding like bodies

(but less so to some extent)

Amazing how something

that is not there

can be so thick.

I still have no clue what an ego is

despite all I've heard about it...
