I love your world. And my world. viorica i lived in israel for 5 months, i was hearing of buses too, i was a student in paris in 1986 when public places where blowing all around, i was in tokyo (was it 1995?) and had to take the line that was poisoned with sarin nerve gaz (i took my train to work once it was cleared) and finally when the twin towers collapsed i was in queens and my wife was visiting appartments in manhattan. if we can come so close to the texture of non-sense the meaning of life is what i make of this moment of bliss with love eric

Guest guest
....in Israel, in Palestine, the aboriginal peoples in Australia,...war,famine,storms,death...and yet there is more love than hate! ....guided by our swabhava and swadharma we each respond as best we can...in a sense it is impossible not to 'suffer'but it is possible to step back and detach ...it is not to let 'them'win not win, but to realise that 'this is because that was' 'right' and 'wrong' are the calls we make, our soul choices may the human need for 'apparent/real'suffering cease to exist! om tat sat

I so enjoyed this particular story that you’ve shared here. Yes, indeed, the market of wisdom is not cornered by any particular group or method or practice. What Sri Ramana has shown us and given to us is that wisdom and understanding are in us already, regardless of what our upbringing or studies have been. Beautiful, this story that you’ve shared with us. Jai to the boxboy and Jai to you Viorica! Jai to Sri Ramana and Omnipresence! It is karmic and cannot be avoided anyway, one has to try and rise above it. In everyday life however; Yes the grocery packer's 'you let them win' etc, is the wrong attitude for the other side thinks the same. It amazes me how young people can be suicide bombers in the first place. Such a mixture of despair and sacrifice, which in itself is a misplaced act of love. Ahimsa in all its forms is the only answer. As Jesus said we must learn to turn the other cheek. To stop the karmic reaction..Plus the 'Golden Rule'.ONS...Tony. Because the Oneness of Advaita is not a Hollywood soft-focus blur . Maya or Lila, like it or not as humans we live in 'real-time'and short-sighted... Sri Aurobindo says that all the rationality, mental, physical development has failed to significantly alter the human being...an inner and total spiritual transformation is needed, changing the hard- wiring...this can take many life-imes or a single flash ... ....in the meantime we can 'bliss-out'but we have to be able also to 'bliss-down' ....we can be horrified at other's acts of apparent violence, but we must remember that there but for the grace of god go i - who knows how we would have reacted given a particular history ... may we send thoughts of peace and strength to act in accordance with humane dharma....
