Welcome to all the new members of the Sangha

and thanks to the old ones. Zenbob, I was remembering the time you joined

back in 1999 when the list was new and we had around 70-80 people. Some fine

messages you wrote on Gurus, DHEA, and nice poems as well. We have had some

great long time members and this is our good karma and now Sri John Logan

is part of the Sangha as well. There are over 550 members now.

The wonderful common sense answers on Gurus

by John and Zenbob and others are worth reading carefully. In this Sangha,

we have always encouraged critical thinking and independent thought. As the

list message states, "No religion or teacher has a monopoly on the truth......".

The True Guru is Always the Self as Tonyji has pointed out many times from

personal experience.

Dear TG, how have you been? Glad you shared.

Thanks for the wonderful pictures Al. Perhaps you should consider a website,

where you can permanently store them. Rangaji has suggested that pictures

will eventually use up all the space allows. Fortunately we have a

couple of hundred megabytes left.

This is a community of sharing and caring and a spiritual Sangha. Thank you

all for your cyber presence.

Thank you for your recent posts and sharing of wisdom BigTexasBob, ZenBob,

Lady Joyce checking in...

As one who sometimes posts photos, I must say that I like to post photos!

Um, I find it spiritually uplifting to do so.

I also like to open my email and see

Al's stunners looking back at me.

It is as uplifting as any words can ever be.

Hmmmm...on the subject of words and Gurus,

can you make a mountain your Guru?

Or a bird? Or a flower? Or...

Lady Joyce says "Yes, yes, yes!"

Only the perfect ones, I guess. (Hi, Tonyji:-)

I wonder how many kbs 1000 words occupy?

Anyway, Rangaji also suggested that we can

go back periodically to delete photos.

In fact, I think he was offering to do the job, weren't you, Rangaji?

I save all of mine anyway,

so go ahead and delete away...

I now backup onto discs.

Having said all of the above,

stand by for my next post :-)

Oh, please, Harshaji,

don't yell at me!!!

Beautiful poem, by the way.... :-)

Hey Harsha!

You're a funny man and more. Have you ever seen the Reevers

(with Steve McQueen)? It is truely a wonderful coming of age

movie with stealing, whoring, biggotry, and lots of love! If not,

rent it...you won't be sorry.

tcha for your silence and chachacha for your words.

Thanks Shawn. Glad the humor is not wasted on you. Was Steve Mcqueen's wife

Dustin Hoffman's girlfriend in the movie "The Graduate"?

Steve McQueens wife, Ali McGraw, was in Love Story - you know, the one

where she dies young of leukiemia.

Dustin Hoffman was in The Graduate with Katherine Ross. Well, they

were both about college life, right?

I love you too shawn! I love Katherine Ross and Ali McGraw too. I cried watching

those movies. Dustin Hoffman's difficulties (in The Graduate) with his in-laws

have haunted many people. They have made so many sequels of so many movies, why

not the Graduate?

OK, all kidding aside, the next years academy of management meeting is in Hawaii

in August 2004 and I am planning to go. Maybe we should have a Sangha retreat

there. Hawaii is a beautiful place and Shawn and you and your wife can show the

group around. Bobby can come and bring his paintings and you can appreciate each

others artwork.

Love to all,

Harsha

Sri Harsha,

I would be happy to show you all around. Let me know when you

will be coming and so forth. Let me know if I can help with

anything. I think there are many places for retreats. Sarah and I

have much on our plates theses days , but there is always help

from the real doer, so i am not worried. God is Gracious! And it

would be great to paint and talk story with Bobby !

Thanks Sri Shawn! You don't have to look for a place for retreat. We

will all just stay with you! :-) :-).

Just kidding Shawn. Honestly. Don't want to scare you.

We will have a proper retreat just like we did here at the Zen

Providence Center. Next year maybe good. One year from now. August

2004 - The Great Hawaii Retreat.

Everyone bring your digital cameras and bathing suits.

By the way, Volume III of the HS mag is almost ready and thanks to

our writers, painters, artists, and editors, it is looking very good!

Love to all
