Guest guest
Didn't he plan to name him Arjuna . . . or was that another song I'm thinking of? ;-) Love, David , wrote: > Many decades ago, the country music star Johnny Cash sang the song, "A boy named Sue". > > It was the story of a boy whose Dad named him Sue (I think after his wife (the boy's mother)left them. For our friends in Asia and Africa we should mention that Sue is a girl's name in the U.S. The term Laot-sue for example means an old man in China and not an old woman. Guest guest
I deeply appreciate Mark Otter (of the Royal Otter Family)for giving the URL of the song, "A Boy Named Sue." A complete set of lyrics can be found here. http://www.toptown.com/hp/66/sue.htm I might be developing the theme in future posts regarding the similarity of the advaitic notion of Not-Two with Johnny Cash's message in this song which ends essentially with Not-Sue. If there is an interest, we can also engage in a discussion of Bishop Tutu's (pronounced Two-Two)philosophy. Bishop Tutu as you know won the Nobel Peace Prize some years ago and is widely respected. Thank you Harsha "markwotter704" <markwotter > 2003/08/12 Tue AM 01:37:44 EDT > NondualitySalon > [NDS] Re: A boy named Sue (Does the name makes a man) > > Oh, for crying out Laot!
