Guest guest
Many decades ago, the country music star Johnny Cash sang the song, "A boy named Sue". It was the story of a boy whose Dad named him Sue (I think after his wife (the boy's mother)left them. For our friends in Asia and Africa we should mention that Sue is a girl's name in the U.S. The term Laot-sue for example means an old man in China and not an old woman. However in the U.S. Sue is a girl's name. Well, the boy named Sue was teased a lot and he grew up fighting the people who made fun of his name. His life was not pleasant and he did not like his father for naming him Sue. Eventually, when the father was close to death, the boy named Sue visited him at the hospital and asked him about the reason for the name Sue. The father told him that he knew that Sue (his son) would be teased because of the name and get into fights and grow tough and strong. And in this world, the father said, "You have to be tough and strong. Otherwise, people will walk all over you with their blue Suede shoes." Finally Sue understood and respected his father for the major decision of naming him Sue. Father and Sue made up and were at peace with each other. So now for those of you who have followed this closely and remember--what did Sue (the boy) plan to name his son? Was it Betty, Maxine, or Ginger? Harsha "Love itself is the actual form of God."
