Guest guest
I always have a same problem when I try to meditate over my Ishtadevata: There is no background in which to visualize the deity. In this way my meditation will never become alive, "three dimensional". It is just thinking of a picture. Can someone help with an advice? Guest guest
Knowing who your Ishtadevata can be important. Usually a Mantra goes with every Ishtadevata. Sound and form are connected. Sound gives rise or helps to give rise to the vision and form of the Ishtadevata. Visualization requires effort. Vision rises spontaneously in consciousness. Did your teacher give you the mantra? You should ask your teachers these questions, should you not? Love to all, Harsha akka_108 wrote: I always have a same problem when I try to meditate over my Ishtadevata: There is no background in which to visualize the deity.
