Guest guest Posted August 29, 2003 Report Share Posted August 29, 2003 8/29/03 The Tooth Faiwy Ananda just asked me directly if it was really I, who put that little rainbow-colored disco ball under her pillow the other night, and not the tooth fairy. I couldn't stop my eyes from giggling. I've never purposefully lied to her so far....so I thought I'd dodge it by asking her what she wanted my answer to be. "What do you mean?" she asked. "I mean," chuckling, "do you want me to say 'yes' or do you want me to say 'no'?" She looked at me perplexed, so I went on, "I will say whatever you like." She paused a moment and then stated with conviction, "I wather want you to say what it is." "Okay," I replied. "Yes, I put it there." She rolled her eyes to the side, lifted her smiling face and sang out, "I *thought* so!" Then she told me, "Mommy, next time don't do it so I can see if the Tooth Faiwy is weally weal." "Okay, love."
