I am less interested in the particulars of how you establish communication with the astral world, but I am interested in knowing what relationship, if any, you think contacting people who are no longer in physical form has to do with enlightenment. I am not questioning the validity of your experiences, and I am not saying that they do not have some very special significance in your life. Everything in creation serves a purpose. I am just wondering whether you think astral communication and phenomena have anything to do with realizing the Self. Namaste, Nothing really except they do reinforce the idea that we are not this body. Other than that it is just like talking to other spirits who have material bodies right now. If you go to that url I posted you will see some surprises await those that think religions know everything. Enlightenment can be being nothing or being everything. I agree with you that the astral world and those in it is just another part of creation, neither to be trivialized nor overemphasized. Personally, I have enough trouble finding time to keep up with my friends and relatives who are still living, but may each person find peace in his or her own way. I guess if an astral person phoned me someday and wanted to talk about football, that would be okay, provided that it was American football (I don't know the rules to the kind the rest of the world plays) and that I wasn't busy trying to cook dinner or something. Well, I guess life and what's before and after and in between life all make me smile.
