(in fact people usually defend themselves, but never accept that they were wrong) a seeker of truth has to accept every truth of life whether it is sweet or bitter, get firm in truth. a shloka says-- sarve satyam pratishtitam (i pray that) truth should be established in everyone. and the truth is-- the auspicious(shiva), the self.
