Guest guest Posted October 1, 2003 Report Share Posted October 1, 2003 Dear Sam: What an interesting reflection/mirror to the park setting. City mouse/country mouse :-) Actually, I am in the burbs. I am very lucky to be in a county where there are numerous parks. Two of them are right around the corner, less than a five minute drive, a ten minute walk. They are the ones I go to all the time to seek darshan. :-) By the way, you posted some acorns a little way back at NDS. I am returning them back to you here. Why? Why? Why? Because I love you. My favorite explanation to Jesse, 3, who gave me an acorn here last Thursday evening, right in the middle of his soccer game. He is also the one carrying the leaf for Mommy at the site, which I think also includes a red oak leaf. I am learning to ID leaves. Getting old, you say? Anyway, I was standing there watching, and all of a sudden, he breaks away from the game, runs over to me and hands me an acorn. "For you, Mommy." I love it when he does things like that :-) It's only a game and he is only three <grin>, so who cares? I have been carrying it around in my pockets. When I pull it out, I think of him and you, and your acorn photo. So, here's trying...
