Guest guest
Sorry about the last message. It got sent by mistake. On the topic of fasting, however, I did hear that a Jain monk fasted for one year on water. Five years seems a bit much though. I don't know if it is medically possible, although I have heard that there are "breatharians" who have learned to get their nutrition from sunshine and the air. Love to all, Harsha "Ah Sam" <ah__sam (AT) hotmail (DOT) com> Hi, I would like to share an experience I had and ask for enlightenment from list members. I met a young lady last year in China and was with her for a few days. She and her acquaintances claimed that she had been in total fast for 5 years and was still fasting, as an involuntary and unintentional result from Qi Gong practice. She only drank a bit of water. A few more people also told me that they had total fast too, but lasting only from a few days to a few weeks. Again, as result from Qi Gong practice I am still skeptical, but there were no motives for them to fabricate it if there is no truth to it. Welcome any wisdom from you all. Best health, Sam.
