Guest guest
Also rough and asking something like: Could what seems not to be Nirguna be what gives an urge to make sense of it all? : ) Alan - Tony OClery Friday, October 17, 2003 10:35 PM Making sense of it all. Namaste All,It is my feeling that all in the dream is individualised and the universalising can only come from the Dreamer. My expression is a bit rough but I think we become one with the total manifestation of the universe and at that time realise Nirguna as well. The universe would then only exist as long as its connection/or individual body does..........ONS....Tony.PS I'm original posting for my replies are showing page not available etc./join "Love itself is the actual form of God."Sri RamanaIn "Letters from Sri Ramanasramam" by Suri Nagamma Your use of is subject to the
Guest guest
Hi Tony, I think this is exactly Maharshi's view. The Universe would be then a SUBJECTIVE rather than OBJECTIVE phenomenon. According to this most wise view, the Universe happens as a dream or projection of the Self, but each dream tends to create another dream in virtue of SAMSKARAS and VASANAS remnant in the subtle mind, after death of the physical body. These Vasanas and Samskaras are what constitute the JIVA, and then only when they are eliminated (thereby destroying the Jiva itself) would Nirguna be realised. If this is accomplished while in the body, the normal experience of the liberated subject is Saguna. When he/she sleeps or closes his/her eyes , is absorbed in Nirguna. At the time of death final absorption in Nirguna, with no further projection or dream, occurs. This view places the Universe as a subjective rather than objective phenomenon and seems more appropriate and more consistent with my experience of it, than the current scientifical view that the Universe is a collective objective phenomenon and we as subjects are mere little phenomena inside of this big phenomenon.
