Namste M, Yes there are feathers etc on the french door and window. It seems the migrating finches are caught in the rainstorm, eating the over ripe berries and becoming intoxicated. Flying into the window reflecting the trees no doubt. I have taped the window to warn them. Its a perfect example of a series of random events contributing to another event.
