Guest guest
Community `Somewhere there are people to whom we can speak with passion without having the words catch in our throats. Somewhere a circle of hands will open to receive us, eyes will light up as we enter, voices will celebrate with us whenever we come into our own power. Community means strength that joins our strength to do the work that needs to be done. Arms to hold us when we falter. A circle of healing. A circle of friends. Someplace where we can be free." -- Starhawk We strike the harp and sound our note, humming fearfully and sorrowfully at first. Then stronger grows our unique vibration, the homing instinct of the soul ready to be free and at peace at last. Today Bob and I went to a workshop at The Wellness Community on humor and healing. On the way home, a white Mustang convertible came from out of nowhere and if Bob had not been able to swerve into the next lane, we would both be dead. We drove home and lay down for a while, listening to folk music. Now we are up and about again. Our story has yet to be fully told. The gods have quite a sense of humor, too.
