As a present to him I have been searching for another copy of the Atmanandupanishat, which includes both the Atmadarshan and the Atmanirvriti. It's one of the most beloved and well-used books we have in our house. It is from 1946 and unfortunately most of its pages are loose now. I was told that the Atmananda books are published in Belgium and the publishers haven't put out any new copies for years. Do you have any advice for where I could go hunting? I have had no luck over the past several months. Funny, on our top book shelf you can find Atmananda, Ramana, Maharaj, Wei Wu Wei and a whole bunch of Nero Wolfe. Maybe yours looks similar?! TALKS, and I AM THAT. But besides them and Atmananda and a few Upanishads, mostly it's Buddhism! Try Blue Dove Books for ATMA DARSHAN and ATMA NIRVRITTI: http://www.bluedove.com/Advaita_Atmananda.htm Right now until December, there's a discussion going on at the advaitin list on the teachings of Atmananda, which I am helping co-moderate. It's being led by Ananda Wood, who while a youth was a student of Atmananda's. The discussion is a bit dry and technical, as Harsha-ji can also attest. But that's the nature of that particular list. It's a lot more moist over here! Love, --Greg You have a way with words Greg. Warm and moist. That's who we are here at HS. We are warm and moist people. But fungus free! :-).
