Guest guest
It is often said that while we do not pick our family, we can choose our friends. While I believe we choose both, I sometimes wonder if the ones we choose as friends are chosen to help us live with the ones we chose as family, LOL. Having said that, I just want to stop and say how thankful I am for this family of friends. I have been a part of this list for just a little over one year now and have grown very fond of many folks who post, and those who do not post :-)..the strong but silent types, who let us shed some of our veils and reveal our innermost thoughts and feelings, many of which I do not share with my "family." They think I am crazy anyway, LOL!!! Thanksgiving used to be a time of turkey and stuffing and visiting family for me. Much has changed in my life, and this year I found myself thinking about all of the things and the people for whom I am thankful in my life. Call it an addiction if you will, but I confess that my connection with this group has become a very important part of my life. So I would be remiss if I did not share this innermost thought with you... I love you very much and thank you for being there for me in so many ways, letting me shed my veils and my tears. Home is where the Heart is... Love and gratitude, Joyce
