Guest guest
This week there has been a free download of Norwegian music. So among the songs I found "All I saw" by Sigvart Dagsland. One evening many years ago I got curious about my own fear of death, so I disappeared completely. During the night I returned. No sleep at all, and in the morning my alarm clock cassette player turned on with this song. And the sweet sorrowful song I knew very well, came opposite and outside in, shining into the room, and this is the way I have heard it ever since. So I will try to translate the text, (a little bit difficult as it is rhyming), the melody is beautiful : ) All I saw, I saw together with you. All I did, I did together with you. A new day, a brand new day, and I am all alone It feels so strange, a bitter taste, and a cool wind of silence. You are no longer here. The days we shared, were tall and blue, now mist is coming through All I saw I saw together with you All I did I did together with you. We stood and fell went right and wrong the terrain was wild and the map was old We tasted all from sweet to sour and we stole a fable. A story with a lost end. The days we shared, now turning to dust, were golden as leaves and all I saw I saw together with you, and all I did I did together with you. All I saw All I saw All I saw All I saw, I saw together with you All I did, I did together with you. .........all I saw. Alan
