Today was a day which was spent writing poetry when I should have been devoting myself to the usual work which is especially important at this time of year. I simply could not leave the writing until whatever was rattling around in my mind came out. It always amazes me how a couple of words can trigger strange strings of thinking and many times I find myself wondering what on earth is my thinking up to :-) Mind you, I must admit that I am exactly the same when I start painting a picture in that I rarely have a clue what I am going to paint when I stand in front of the blank canvas but somehow after a little prayer inspiration comes and off I go working furiously until an image that I am satisfied with appears... and the daft thing is I always recognise the scene when I've finished it :-)) Today's poetry efforts have set me thinking and if I did not know better I would be convinced that Chief Sitting Bull wrote the last one himself. I'll post them on now and you will see what I mean. BTW... you wanna know something? I love you too Joyce.
