Guest guest
Dear Jan: Thank you for the glorious glories, one of my favorite flowers that I can never seem to grow myself but always enjoy when others have them in their gardens! And for your pure loving thoughts...no definition needed. As to the flowers...Hmmmmmmmmm, if at first you don't succeed :-) A few morning glories for lady Joyce: morning glory showsway of living that's sublimea pure loving heart On 1/2/04 at 10:47 PM Lady Joyce wrote: http://www.omshaantih.com/Blueheroncalling.html Morning glory, New Year dawningI can hear Blue Heron calling Beckoning to me to playHide and seek this New Year day First light sun smiles 'cross the waterAmid the sound of lake birds' chatter Robin red breast in the treesPosing oh so beautifully Only One I cannot findIs that sweet Blue Heron mine Just as I am about to leaveI hear a loud call from behind me I turn around and I beholdBlue Heron on the beach...so bold I just walked by your bushy homethinking that I was alone And that the lake was quiet and stillAnd that I would not see you 'til Some other day, some other timeElusive sweet Blue Heron mine. Guest guest
Dear Joyce, Sometimes it takes effort to grow flowers. It could be the soil, the light, or crawlies fond of germinating plants :-) To find out, start growing from seeds in a pot in the living and when the weather is favorite, migrate them to the garden. Here, things are the reverse: morning glories grow by themselves, every winter, after the rain, i just have to go outside and take the pics. Not one of the morning glories is the same as another one, contrary to those from commerce ;-) Here's a bouquet, and below that, the catch this morning. Enjoy! Guest guest
Dear Jan: You take my breath away :-) And, yes, sometimes it does take effort to grow flowers:-) I have been gardening my yard for many years...you win some and you lose some. Sometimes flowers just happen and I do not even know where they came from... well, yes I do, as in bird doo doo!!! Got a beautiful sunflower that way Anyway, I have tried the morning glory a few times. Once it is established, although it is an annual, it will reseed. I have grown them in the house first. But then you can forget them and they die of thirst...ouch. I will try again this summer. I know I have some leftover seeds in my back porch "garden center" And thanks again for the wonderful images...flower satsangha...
