Guest guest
Namaste, Love is not pollyanna feelings of emotion of attachment. It is not enjoying the K energy or anything like that. If you could see someone with an abscess and you could burst and suck out the poison to relieve that person's pain. Without any pollyanna do gooder emotion--------that is love. I actually read a story of Ammachi doing this in front of horrified disgusted devotees. She said they were too pampered and didn't really understand the poor and sick etc. Sending someone nice letters and poems is all very nice put picking somebody of the street and clothing them or feeding them is better-----it is action. As Jesus would say in the Beatitudes..........ONS....Tony.
Guest guest
Dear thats Michael from Tuscany please tell me are you a woman or a man? please tell me the meaning of pollyanna? for me words are the cause of most of the troubles we experience with others because people start to quarrel about a word without realizing that they have different opinion about the words they use love of course is the mos used and misused word everything is driven by the urge for love even the sexual killer and the now in fashion cannibalism do it out of lack of love without love there is nothing emptiness of course and thats the most difficult part of it real love is loving without asking for anything in return its like to love for the one and only to LOVE MEANS TO LOVE UNCONDITIONALLY and this is in my opinion the lackmus test of love living with this knowledge is difficult because there a no excuses left....... tku all the best michael bindel >"Tony OClery" > >To: > Love is sucking filth >Sun, 04 Jan 2004 17:49:34 -0000 > >Namaste, > >Love is not pollyanna feelings of emotion of attachment. >It is not enjoying the K energy or anything like that. >If you could see someone with an abscess and you could burst and >suck out the poison to relieve that person's pain. Guest guest
next thing is tony that sending letters & poems is good but being practical is much better. but tony while taking the filth, i think tony one thing should be taken care of that is remaining detached. though understanding the pains of others but still remaining detached & not expecting anything from the one you serve that is, serving with the motive of just serving and expecting nothing, not even praise(this is what is called nishkaam seva). love, gautam.
