These are among my favorite Western texts, and available in almost every large

bookstore.

Namaste,

You may enjoy these quotes from a 14th century Christian English

mystic. They are by the Unknown Author, most famous for his work,

The Cloud of Unknowing. These quotes are from a less well known

work, The Book of Privy Counsel, from the book, The Cloud of

Unknowing--which is actually a collection of both works mentioned,

William Johnston editor.

Thanks Greg. The Truth of Being-Awareness is simple.

People need not worry about why something so simple is

difficult to practice or grasp.

If the spontaneous awareness of Being-Awareness arises

like a continuous stream before someone is ready, it

may make the person lose their balance. So nature

offers some protection.

In Hindi, there is saying, "Sahaj Pake so Meetha Hoy."

>From the perspective of modern psychology many of the

sages and the saints might be considered psychotic.

The fact that Sri Ramana sat in silence for years

without speaking could be interpreted differently by a

western scientist not familiar with mystical

traditions.

Love to all

Harsha
