Guest guest
Dear Michael, I wonder wherefrom this "awareness watching awareness" is coming originally and in which context it is used. Could you help? Is it from Nisargadatta? Somewhere I have read it befor you started posting about it, but I can't remember where and in which context. It confuses me much - also your new pages confuses me - so I would really like to know wherefrom this "awareness watching awarness" has its source Kind regards Gabriele RamanaMaharshi, "Michael L." <uarelove> wrote: > The change from the Direct Path Links Directory > to the Awareness Watching Awareness web site > was like going from a Novel with hundreds of pages > to a summary with only three pages. > > In the Awareness watching awareness web site, > there is only one quote. > The rest is all new material. > > The first page describes the discoveries > and the value of the discoveries: > > http://uarelove.com > > The second page gives the precise core practice > instructions for the Awareness Watching Awareness > method of Instant, Immediate, Direct Abidance: > > http://uarelove1.tripod.com/AWA_INSTRUCTIONS1.htm > > The third page gives clarifications > about the practice: > > http://uarelove1.tripod.com/AWA_CLARIFICATION.htm > > That is all there is for now. > > The reasons for the big change > and why none of the old material was included > can be read here: > > http://uarelove1.tripod.com/CHANGE.htm > > Take care, > > with Love, > > Michael L. > > > Hotjobs: Enter the "Signing Bonus" Sweepstakes > http://hotjobs.sweepstakes./signingbonus

Here is the link: http://uarelove1.tripod.com/CHANGE.htm Awareness watching awareness are my words, they have the same meaning as: Awareness observing Awareness, Awareness of awareness, Consciousness conscious of consciousness etc. I gave the 14 slightly different descriptions of the practice because some people relate better to one particular wording and others to other wording. On the old web site I did a lot of quoting. Hundreds of quotes. On the new web site I did no quoting, except for one brief Lao Tzu quote in the beginning. In the middle of this page: http://uarelove1.tripod.com/CHANGE.htm There are a few quotes by Sri Muruganar, Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj and Sri Annamalai Swami that describe the awareness of awareness method in their words. That may be all you are looking for in your question. However, at the bottom of this page: http://uarelove1.tripod.com/CHANGE.htm I have placed a step by step series of links, ten links in a certain order. For twenty five years, I had rather narrow views of Self-inquiry, that were closely related to the process described in the book "Who am I?" Because going from one view to a whole new view can be difficult, to make it much clearer and less confusing, I put those step by step links in the order that would best introduce the new view. I created those ten step links for people like me who have a Sri Ramana Maharshi orientation. I put them under the label step 1, step 2 etc. because the information in the links makes a lot more sense if read in that order. Those ten step links reveal the new view step by step and they also trace step by step the origin of the Awareness Watching Awareness meditation. Take care, with Love, Michael L. Guest guest
The change from the Direct Path Links Directory to the Awareness Watching Awareness web site was like going from a Novel with hundreds of pages to a summary with only three pages. In the Awareness watching awareness web site, there is only one quote. The rest is all new material. The first page describes the discoveries and the value of the discoveries: http://uarelove.com The second page gives the precise core practice instructions for the Awareness Watching Awareness method of Instant, Immediate, Direct Abidance: http://uarelove1.tripod.com/AWA_INSTRUCTIONS1.htm The third page gives clarifications about the practice: http://uarelove1.tripod.com/AWA_CLARIFICATION.htm The reasons for the big change, including a step by step way for those immersed in the tradition of Sri Ramana Maharshi to see Self-inquiry and Self-Abidance in a new light can be read at this link: http://uarelove1.tripod.com/CHANGE.htm Take care, with Love, Michael L.
