wouldn't it be wonderful if there really was no me? No separate

little person who does this and that and worries, brags, plans, acts,

thinks, etc. No someone with a name, attributes, attitudes, ideas,

personal dramas.

sitting here reading my copy of David Godman's edit from Be As You

Are from this website, I find myself really understanding and feeling

the absence of a little me/person who seems to be doing and thinking

all by himself! It's so cool to have an experience of myself that is

not a little me and that what I thought was me is really just an

imaginary thing that I created long ago and came to totally believe

in. Not too long ago, I stopped believing in my little personal me.

It just didn't seem real and I made a promise to keep the experience

as an ongoing reality, not something that I experienced once but then

slipped away. Well, it did kind of slip away but when I read Godman

and others, the reality of what I found comes back and once again, I

see/know that my little me isn't real at all while I am real. It's

funny how the false me comes back as real while I fade into the

background believing in my false little me/person....LOL. What's

your experience with NO ME? Did it remain permanent or did it become

another unique experience in the past? Is it easy for you to

remember that you are not a little me or does it take some effort to

regain that knowing? What is life like for you after you stopped

being a little separate someone? Could you describe in any way

whatsoever your nature/state/condition as your real self and not a

little limited person? What are you like as the real me?

thanks,

jim

Dear Jim,

You ask a question that is truly fascintating. I have

no idea how many persons have experienced the

dissolution of the "little me". There seem to be a

lot of people who have grasped the concept of "no

little me".

But there is a "big me". Have you experienced that?

Warmest regards,

michael
