Guest guest
thank you "charlesdecapo" or t.t. by the way what does t.t. stand for? "weird experience": wonderful IT IS "teaching": Ramana was giving himself not "teaching" because teaching means "two" "emptiness" full of void IT IS this is it at least what michael bindel experiences as REAL and everything else is for "me" therefore a "dream" and not "real" is really a wonderful "tool" "help" because it stops "get sucked into useless states of mind" and therefore is like the light in the darkness better I cannot express it "stillness and peace" THATS IT staying in IT thats IT "falling outside" "normal" but always kind of suffering afterwards so what for????? like you stated its "hard" to descirbe for me its undescribable and I had to accept after long silly struggles inside my ego if someone has not experienced this he she cannot follow...... it just came into my mind watching cats totally relaxed is a great real teacher for michael bindel this complete peace I cannot "produce" myself IT comes and goes b u t as more I really live what I am sure of the more often it comes and the longer it stays light experiences like you stated and "I" experience myself (than everything is cystal clear blue) are sensations and okay for "me" like a sign of its okay.... sorry for commented your honest and straightforward comments thanks again for your sharing this with inner happiness and laughter LOL michael bindel >"charlesdecapo" > >To: > Entering the endless void...what is this? >Sun, 15 Feb 2004 12:12:07 -0000 > >Namaste, > >Since I first came across the teachings of Ramana Maharshi, >Nisargadatta and other great Advaita teachers...I've been >having this weird experience often. It's just my opinion of your experience but, it sounds to me like you, a separate egoic imagined person, are comming into contact with your real self: void, stillness, peace, emptiness, life & energy, etc. Seen from the perspective of a "person" your real self seems/feels like you describe. The key to all those experiences is to eventually be and stay as the void, emptiness, etc. while viewing your personal false self as something other than & separate from you. I'd guess you are very close to making the magic transition from a limited, littel person to the thing you are noticing and experiencing which is you yourself and not that little separate false self you've believeed in since early childhood. > Sometimes it's a very intense experience...Thoughts usually subside > completely for a moment...or slows down and stays on the surface. > It seems that I can't produce this state with my own effort. > It comes and goes on it's own...When it's not so intense I sometimes > might see this spiraling circle of golden yellow light inside my > head..? It may not be very long now when you will become the thing you are describing to us and realize that THAT is the real you while the person/ego/individual who is now seeing all these things is not you - never was - and not even real! It will be a wonderful event when you become yourself again instead of the little person you now think you are who is having interesting experiences. blessings, jim

Namaste, Pardon me for analysing your experience. First of all there is the feeling of 'I' so you are still experiencing. Secondly you are seeing manifestations of light so the 'I' is still experiencing. You are in some kind of dream state. When I first started meditation many years ago, there were many experiences and this is normal when one is reorganising one's mind at the subconscious level. Sometimes there are bursts of cleansing prana aka kundalini etc. These subside as purification progresses. I remember one frightening experience that I had in those early days. I was meditating or preparing to and I ended up in a void state with no thought except the feeling of my own little I. I was startled and came out of it quickly in case I became stuck there. There is a void plane in progressing through or before the astral states it seems. This may be the River Styx of the dead before the second death. Anyway it only happened once, as an impediment and was eventually overcome by an even more acute experience, of going up through all the states to the 'no memory state'. The true void has no experiencer or memory........ONS...Tony
