Guest guest
If my memory serves me well, this marks Ash Wednesday,> which is the beginning of Lent. Vicki Woodyard, no chocolate until Easter :-)Okay, you must have been over at Jerry's reading my confession....I do remember giving up chocolate for Lent when I was in junior high school. This was very hard for me. My best friend and I observed Lent, not because it was a church thing; she just wanted us to do it. She also went to an excercise studio around the corner where I lived. She would strap herself onto this machine and get her fat vibrated! We found each other again in September when our class had reunion. It was wonderful and nothing had changed. I still eat chocolate and she is still a character. I see now that she wanted us to give up chocolate to help her lose a few pounds.Love, Vicki Ah, Vicki... I did not go to NDS before I posted this. I just remembered your "confession" about chocolate from an earlier post of yours. I did get a good laugh when I checked in at NDS and found your current "confession" though! I love chocoate too. But, I have finally concluded that it makes me break out. I still indulge at Easter time. And I only buy the best. The way I figure it, since I only have it once or twice a year, I am going for the gusto. Fanny farmer zits!!! Meanwhile, you brought back another memory...Elaine Powers!!! I had a roomate who used to drag me there. Those bright pink and orange fat vibrators were just too funny for words. Back then I really did not need to lose weight. But the machines were fun!!! Those were the days, my friend...we thought they'd never end...NOT Love, Joyce /join "Love itself is the actual form of God."Sri RamanaIn "Letters from Sri Ramanasramam" by Suri Nagamma
