What a sight he, or rather, most likely, she was. I could bearly believe my own eyes! Up here in these majestic and breath-taking mountains, fredwood forests so captivating, I cannot still, not yet, conceive of the great blessing that has brought me here. I walk around in awe, everywhere, everday, and get this, Bobby. Before we moved up here I had mentioned wanting to get some peacocks whenever we finally found our place. Now, the neighbors have eight peacocks and they spend more time standing about right outside my kitchen's sliding glass door, and they're so friendly and peaceable, it's unbelievable, eh? Here are some shots I got of the most amorous peacock of the lot, dubbed Harry, in honor of the american colloquial version of pronouning "Hari," on occasion.
