Guest guest Posted April 21, 2004 Report Share Posted April 21, 2004 Namaste All, Today M Vanunu was released from an Israeli jail after serving 18 years, 12 in solitary confinement for revealing the extent of the development of weapons of mass destruction in that country, nuclear in his case. Sometimes it is not enough to believe and support, sometimes we have to put these bodies on the line in the face of 'evil'. We have a choice to serve God and mankind or serve those in high places. Vanunu chose to serve God and mankind and not those in high places. He will go down as a great martyr like Bertrand Russell, Ghandiji, and many many more whose principles are greater than greed or fear. May the rest of his life be happy after years of torture and loss. He was more attached to mankind than he was to his body....ONS...Tony.
