I talk about the question, "Who, or what, is meant by "I"?" I get very little response to that, but never mind. When you care for your house you keep it warm; you light a fire and you keep the outside doors shut. I talk about consciousness; I talk about Reality; I talk about seeing that one is not the body and not the mind. You have never responded to that either. And then, like adolescents, other members open the doors and leave them open, by insisting that gurus who indulge in personality worship (their own) are conveying an authentic spiritual message. So I say, "Please, shut the door.You have left the door open." "You have left the door open again". "Oh, for God's sake, shut the door." Have you ever shared a house with teenagers? Then you will know how some of them always leave the doors open. I have a balcony with potted plants. Cockatoos (they are splendid birds) fly down, destroy the potted plants, and crap all over the place. So, if I see them arriving I chase them away. And regardless, I get down on my hand and knees and clean up the droppings they leave on the balcony. Some people think I should put food out for them, for them and the pigeons. I prefer to have greenery and flowers. Yes, I get angry. But it is straightforward anger. I don't talk down to anyone. I don't hide my anger behind saccharine spiritual platitudes. And lots of people here get angry. Lots. I won't mention names; you know already. Why single me out? Is it because you especially disagree with me? Dear Warwick: Why do you think that you are so upset about all of the Guru and other issues which you have been raising on the list lately? The tone of your posts seems very angry and upset in general and I cannot help wondering why? Why is it so important to you that the list is not what you want it to be? Why is it so important to you that everyone gets your point and when they don't, it is only because they don't want to? Sorry for all of the questions, dear Warwick, but I have never seen you so combative since you joined the list and I sense that something is going on to make you unsettled. I could say that it is just this Osho guy and you sure won't be the first one to trash him on these lists, LOL :-) But, you have also been angry in general over other things, so it is not just Osho. OSHO OSHO OSHO OSHO...just kidding!!! (Sorry, could not resist that.) Anyway, I am not so much asking you to answer these questions to the list, but that maybe you should ask yourself. When it gets right down to it, who CARES? Whatever happens, good or bad, is for a reason. We can learn from it or we can burn from it... Still learning, sometimes burning, and always thankful... Joyce: Still learning, sometimes burning, and always thankful thats exactly how I "feel" I ask you for your permission to use your words, because they are so significant for me michael bindel Warwick before going to sleep yesterday I had the deep impression that your soul is full of love this was a wonderful feeling and I felt a lot of deep disappointments really big ones I like the way you think and write thorough deep compassionate (at least for my intuition apparatus) frustrated too of course living with open eyes not hiding the had in the sand with a good high intellectual capacity like yours (and mine laughter) ...... and of course on the pure "personal" level it has to be somehow the same trifle things maybe but many many small things..... its good to be in touch with all of you till later michael bindel - Warwick Wakefield Sunday, April 25, 2004 4:47 AM Re: Dear Joyce..
