Guest guest
The discussion on good or bad teachers is of course closed, still I would like to add this comment without opening that particular line of thought again. Embracing every guru and teacher as humans is all right, but maybe a little "hazy" if we still see them all as teachers. When reading words from different sources/ teachers I used to get captured by differences. Then I discovered what is described by Ramana when he talks about needing only one mirror for shaving. For me this happened to be through Atma Bodha. Any lesson can be viewed in the light of such a presentation : ) And no further comment will be needed. Guest guest
Dear Al, You know how much I love you and respect you. But discussion of good and bad teachers is not off limits on the list. There is no censorship here but exercise of good taste is requested. I suggest that whatever we discuss should be done compassionately and in a way that is consistent with a high level of humor, strong and yet soft and subtle insights, and general groping for profound understanding and other similar stuff.
