Guest guest
When the living word seems dead We all have times when the living word seems dead. You dial up God and feel a disconnect. You sit alone with the tears streaming down your face. All the good seeds you have planted are coming up and.....well, they're onions! You're a lonely little petunia in an onion patch. If you have any good karma at all, it's at the cleaners or has a greasy stain right on the front. You're out of Kleenex and there is absolutely nothing good to eat in the pantry. Nothing on TV but reruns and you just worked your last crossword puzzle. Where is God right about now? You are frantic for spiritual food that doesn't leave you hungry for more in an hour. Where do you turn then? Relax. I was just making up a scenario....or was I? If you have been there, it seems very real, doesn't it? Forget platitudes. Today's manna is what you need. Where can you get some? It's right under your nose. It's your suffering. Grist for the mill. No credit card required, no forms to fill out. Take all you want. It's free. Now I am beginning to laugh as I type. I remember someone saying, "Let suffering have you, let love have you, let it all have you." Truer words were never spoken (or posted on a list). If you don't agree, kiss my grist.....wink, wink, nudge, nudge. Vicki Woodyard http://www.bobwoodyard.com
Guest guest
Dear Vicky thank you for this posting. I know this feeling and I agree. My solution: giving up our Ego completely, giving up our "story", let GD be in command as GD is always in command Not difficult to state this words b u t to live them..... Glad to hear your opinion.... michael - "skiplaurel" <vicki <> Sunday, May 09, 2004 4:00 AM Kiss > When the living word seems dead > > We all have times when the living word seems dead.
