Guest guest
Dear friends, I am giving more attention to Mark's statement, yesterday, that it is necessary to live what one has understood about who, or what, one is. It is my experience that this is particularly relevant in the arena of opinions. If one makes a statement on a subject, whether it be the environment, or politics, or spirituality, and one is contradicted, and one becomes upset, that is a pretty good sign that the statement comes from the person, and not from one's essence. I suppose that the discomfort, whether it is anger, or frustration, or dejection, could be seen as a gift, or at least a friendly tap on the shoulder, from the divine. "Hey, you are taking this personally. Whether your statement was right or wrong is not the point; the point is that if you identify, as a person, with your view of things, then you are creating misery (by re-enforcing the misconception that you are a person, when in fact you are totally free and unbound consciousness.) Much love Warwick
