The enormous hill, reaching three times my height, near about, burned for days, burned through the rain, burned and roared, cracked and simmered through the night....for nearly a week. Stopping time, the flower and the humming bird finally meet, It takes all day for the flower to open to the sun. It takes the best camera and film on this planet to stop the wings of a hummingbird. Yet they touch each other in this picture. To see both at the same time is a real gift.
