16) Jesus said, "Men think, perhaps, that it is peace which I

have come to cast upon the world. They do not know that it is

dissension which I have come to cast upon the earth: fire, sword,

and war. For there will be five in a house: three will be against

two, and two against three, the father against the son, and the

son against the father. And they will stand solitary."

Spiritual truth is never welcome in a material world. So pointing

out the error of materialism is revolutionary to most people full of

desires. Jesus's teaching would be regarded as creating dissension

in the status quo. One has to work out one's own karma in the world.

Even in families spiritual people are not accepted in many cases. In

the end result it is one's own responsibility to work out one's

spiritual realization.....
